last post of the day!: not that there have been alot...that's an article about eddie mcgee, the winner of big brother. it's not that interesting, it's just a standard interview with him, he seems smart and nice enough. the thing you have to note in this article is that his brother's name is bobby. yes, bobby mcgee. the poor thing.

please don't vote for george bush: #21 in a continuing series: i feel like i post this alot, but i really think the man is a dick. i can't understand why anyone would vote for him. this article delves into his seeming inability to take responsibility for texas's staggering death penalty rate, and it's interesting. i also thought you might enjoy these quotes, forwarded to me from a friend:

"We have to have men who are responsible for their women ... letting women have contraception gives them too much power."
Dr. William Reynolds Archer III, Bush's appointee as the Commissioner of the Texas Department of Health

"God does not forbid women to be leaders in society, generally speaking, but when that occurs it's usually because of the abdication of men ... I would vote for a woman for the presidency, in some situations, but again, there's a certain shame attached ... God's Word says very plainly that an elder is to be a man."
Marvin Olasky, Bush's close policy advisor

"I support George W. Bush for president. He will be the next president of the United States. And he'll have a Republican Congress and we'll be able to do all the things we've been trying to do while President Clinton has stopped us from it."
Tom DeLay, Republican House Majority Whip

"More conservative than his father, George W. has a proven record of conservative accomplishment ... A Bush victory in November 2000 would be a conservative triumph, not a moderate one."
Ralph Reed, former Christian Coalition executive director and Bush's advisor

As Governor, George W. Bush declared January 1998 to be "A Month of Prayer to End Abortion."

isn't that a bit strange?

let's get this over with: big brother ended this past friday with a somewhat wimpy last show - where were the fights and the interviews with families, or hell, the interview with the winner? totally lame. i'm glad our eddie won, big up to long island. i hope the next show isn't as inept as this one was. the problem is that no one is interesting all the time, and they need it to not be a daily show. maybe 3 times a week. but daily is too much effort, too much stretching.
